Setting up a new calendar with Server-Side Async.

On the datasource setup page, selected an opened FM database from the drop down list.

However, no layouts are showed up on the “calendar fields layout” list.

Of course, many layout have been created in the database and has full privileges on it.

Any settings on the source data base that prevent list up the layouts?

just FYI, the database is migrated from ver 11 to 15 and uploaded.

If I do the same process using a bland new database(created thru ver 15), then it works file and list up all layouts.

    Anyone have the same issue?

To be able to use the data source set up window, turn OFF the following security option in your file:

“Require full access privileges to use references to this file”.

Under File > Security > File Access

You can turn this feature back on after you’re done in this window.

    Hi,

    One more question.

Set the data source and all data shows up on a new Calendar.

Trying to copy scripts to the Clipboard from the Calendar setting and pastes into my db.

In the Script Workspace,  without opening any scripts, the “Paste” menu is greyed out. so I cannot paste the scripts.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure your cursor is in the right place in the Script Workspace.

There are two options in the “Use in FileMaker Pro/Go” window:

    • “Copy Calendar Scripts”: copies all of the scripts used in the solution. The cursor must be in the left-hand panel, under the word “Scripts”, where the lists of scripts show up.
    • “Re-copy just the Variable Steps”: copies just the three steps at the top of the soSIMPLE Calendar Action script. This script must be selected, and the cursor must be in the script editing window on the right.
